ALL SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENTS WILL BE ISSUED DIRECTLY TO YOUR COLLEGE AND WILL REQUIRE ENDORSEMENT ONLY BY YOUR COLLEGE. IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO, PLEASE TELL US YOUR STUDENT ID# AND THE ADDRESS TO WHICH OUTSIDE SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENTS SHOULD BE MAILED. YOU CAN DO THIS BY E-MAILING US AT ccsf@colonial.net.
Semester I scholarship payments will be mailed on July 14, 2008, and should be received by schools on July 17, 2008. All awardees are encouraged to check their student accounts after July 21, 2008, to make sure the funds have been properly credited.

IRS REMINDER ON CHARITABLE GIVING: The tax benefit for charitable contributions is available for taxpayers who itemize contributions. Only contributions actually made during the tax year are deductible. If a taxpayer pledges $500 in September but pays the charity only $200 by 12/31/07, the 2007 deduction would be $200. Credit card charges and payments by check are included in the year they are given to the charity even though the taxpayer may not pay the credit card bill or have the bank account debited until the next calendar year. |
